Butterfly of Hope 16”x20” acrylic on canvas is a symbol of the transition process that victims involved in a domestic violence situation must go through. The conversion process that a butterfly goes through is called Metamorphosis, in which they change from a caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. Hope butterfly encourages one to trust in themselves that they are beautifully and wonderfully made by the creator of all things and deserves to be treated with care, respect, but most of all love. The hope is that they will develop the courage and strength to free themselves from an abusive environment and live in peace and prosperity.
